Since 2021, businesses have been grappling with the Great Resignation, the latest talent challenge that’s sweeping the nation; and while
As companies increase their efforts to go green, the manufacturing industry has also seen an increased demand for sustainable manufacturing and eco-friendly products, processes, and services.
At Hirsh Precision, we have been committed to maintaining an ethos of environmental sustainability in everything we do for many years. We feel socially responsible not just to the environment, but also to the sustainability efforts that our valued partners are pursuing.
Considering this, we have incorporated several initiatives across all our business functions to ensure that we are doing our part to protect the environment.
As machinists, we go through a lot of water, and at Hirsh Precision, we have made it our goal to make sure that the water we use leaves our facility cleaner than when it arrives.

There is no question that it takes a great deal of resources to run a production operation, and two of the most common and difficult products to get rid of safely are our oils and coolants.
While we reuse our coolants whenever possible, the team at Hirsh Precision has established a safe and sustainable method for getting rid of both our coolants and oils.
We carefully separate our oils, coolants, and residual material that comes from our water filtration system into separate tanks, which are then handed off to a certified company who properly recycle or dispose of it.
