Hirsh Precision Announces Expansion to 65,000 Square Foot Industrial Facility in Frederick, CO
Boulder, CO Hirsh Precision Products, a precision manufacturer for aerospace, medical device, and scientific industries, today announced their expansion from Boulder, Colorado into a 65,000 square foot facility located in Frederick, Colorado. This milestone signifies a critical stage for Hirsh Precision, who is on a mission to become the standard of excellence for precision manufacturing in the United States, and their long-term plan for growth.
Hirsh Precision’s expansion into Frederick is a product of the collaboration between Hirsh Precision Products, the Town of Frederick, Weld County, and Upstate Colorado Economic Development. In addition to pursuing their goal of becoming an industry leader in American manufacturing, Hirsh Precision also aims to bring well-paying jobs to the area, relocate 90 jobs to Weld County, and leave a significant, economic impact on one of Colorado’s fastest-growing counties.
“In order to meet the needs of our growing customers, Hirsh Precision needed to significantly expand its manufacturing space. We were attracted to the Town of Frederick and Weld County due to ease of access for transportation, proximity for our employees, and the economics of the area. Relocating a business is definitely a daunting proposition but the assistance and support that we have received from the Town of Frederick and Upstate Colorado Economic Development has been tremendous. They helped educate us about the numerous benefits offered to businesses, as well as explaining opportunities where our company can engage with the community. This partnership has been extremely helpful and a positive experience,” says Mark Cartwright, Facilities Coordinator at Hirsh Precision.
This news also comes in the wake of other important initiatives the precision manufacturer has set in motion within the last year, including:
- Expanding their automated manufacturing capabilities
- Offering in-house metal finishing to their customers
- Increasing their complex assembly and inventory capabilities
- Earning their AS9100D certification
Hirsh Precision’s new headquarters in Frederick will allow the team of manufacturers to continue growing their manufacturing capabilities, create training areas for developing the next generation of the manufacturing workforce, and position themselves for their next stage of growth.
